Incoming coordinates for high-flavor impact! These ‘Close Air Support’ wings are your tactical solution to a boring appetite. We initiate the mission with a low-and-slow smoke at 225°F to build a base of hickory goodness, then kick the afterburners to 350°F for that crucial, crispy-skin victory. Tossed in your choice of ‘Smokin’ Soldier’ or ‘Blazin’ Battle’ sauce, this payload is ready for immediate deployment. Clear the runway and prep your tastebuds—support has arrived.

What You’ll Need:

  • Smoker Set 225°F
  • Wood of Choice (hickory or apple suggested)
  • Wire Rack or Cooling Rack
  • Gloves, Tongs, Spritz Bottle

  • Rub & Tug Seasoning 3–4 tbsp.

Barracks Tip: If you want extra-crispy wings, hit them with a 2–3 minute broil at the end. Stand by the oven – heroes are made and wings are lost in these final moments.

  2. Load the Smoker Set smoker to 225°F and deploy hickory or apple wood.
  3. Smoke Time Place wings on racks for better airflow. Smoke for 1.5–2 hours until the skin looks tanned and beautiful.

  5. Sauce Deployment Toss wings in: Smokin’ Soldier for mild, OR Blazin’ Battle for full-send spicy.
  6. Serve the Payload Plate, admire, and deploy to the hungry masses.
